On the road again ... we have officially kicked off our Summer RV trip! We started in Cameron Park, loaded up the RV and headed to Truckee to enjoy an evening of fun with the Viadros and friends, and then landed in Calpine with our buddies the Swinneys! We hit Sand Pond and captured 36 bull frog tadpoles, a water snake, and a wounded dragonfly named "buttercup." (Note: our silk worm moths are all officially RIP and will be laid to rest in Bryce. Mama died after a record 34 days!). On day two, we headed for Bodie (after a little vehicular incident in Tahoe -- more on that tomrrow), and LOVED looking for ghosts and treasure in the "wildest town in the west" (circa 1880). We hauled down 395 with gorgeous scenary all around (and some dare devil wildlife we fear did not survive the length of our rig -- poor whittle wabbit). We're in Lone Pine and getting read to head for Vegas -- where our blog will be quiet ... because what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas!! Love the Four Winds (that's also the name of our motorhome!)
