Got Our Kicks on Route 66

Here we are in Williams, AZ - the last town on Historic Route 66 to be bypassed by the interstate (40). We left Sedona (in the midst of a monsoon) and headed to Williams where we road the GCR into the Canyon.

Makana said: "We went on a train that went to the Grand Canyon and there were entertainers. The first one had super small harmonicas and played them super good. Before the train ride there was a cowboy shoot out - they didn't really shoot anyone. We saw antelope, bulls, squirrels, a bunny - it was fun. We went to the Grand Canyon. There's a rim and you have to be very careful - if you fall off the rim, you would go one mile down and die! We also got robbed on the train by Gus - the outlaw we really liked. We gave him money ($1) to take a picture! He called us his 'little cow girls and his angels'. There was also a sherrif!"

We're uploading pictures of our "GRAND" ride and of Route 66 Williams - it's like "Cars" only way better!
